Recording the vocals I have tried recording in the studio but when I checked the audio file it had slight delay. I followed your advice by recording in another project by bouncing my file to make it to an audio file for less delay, and it worked. I also changed the buffer size to 32. I recorded my vocals with takes by looping each arrangement and then picked the best vocal. I recorded it in my home studio with a Blue Yeti condenser microphone and used the cardioid setting.  I did not any reverbs, I will leave that in the mixing. My vocals consists of the lead and ad-libs. I am now trying to get the levels right so it does not peak so drastically. 

Making the beat  I added my bridge for my song (strings, pads and piano), I panned the authentic strings full left and right because my levels are peaking. The dynamic string ensemble isn't following the metronome I have to record it again. I am having a hard time following the beat for my bridge maybe i could add a simple four beat drum to help me. Writing the lyrics I added my bridge out and added my second verse. I am working on my I'm still trying out a few melodies for my bridge and my outro. I am trying not to spend to long on writing the song.
