Beat making & Writing the lyrics

Beat Making

I've got an idea to add the vintage brassy bass in the chorus to fill up the space, Crate Digger GB will be my Foundation throughout the song and I've added in the authentic strings because i wanted some orchestra sounds in my foundation as well. I'm still searching for a synth for the foundation of the song to make it sound heavy because it feels like something is missing from the song.

Writing The Lyrics

When writing it, I've already had an idea of the melody along with the pre-chorus and chorus
From the start I wanted the song to be sad, the lyrics is about loving someone but you can't have them. Started working with the chord progression and wrote the pre chorus and chorus out.
My intro  and outro will have hums (vocals) and I've repeated the Pre-chorus but changed the last word of each sentence. My chorus will have "Ooos" (vocals) and for the time being I'm repeating the word Never. I'm now working on writing the verses for the song.

Comments

  1. We'll be talking about how to modify sounds in the synths later, so don't agonize over the sounds yet. Just find one that will speak the way you need it to, attack and sustain.

If you have the idea for the topline, you are welcome to start with that. it will help define your chord progression and a lot of what you do with rhythm parts.

I need audio files in order to really help
